A Halal Certificate is linked to an annex listing approved products, production sites, and relevant details. Each certificate has a unique identifying code for every company or product. Depending on the certificate type, validity can range from 1 to 3 years.

A Halal Shipment Certificate is an official document issued for a specific export consignment originating from an approved and certified facility.

It confirms that the products included in the shipment comply with applicable Halal requirements and have been produced, handled, and dispatched under controlled conditions that preserve their Halal integrity.

Depending on the destination market, the certificate may be mandatory for customs clearance, market access, or verification of Halal compliance.

HCC East African Halal Confirmation Centre offers professional training on GSO 993:2015 – Animal Slaughtering Requirements and GSO 2055-1:2015 – Halal Food – Part 1: General Requirements.

Our training is designed for slaughterhouses, food manufacturers, processors, quality personnel, Halal teams, and any individual involved in the Halal food supply chain. Participants gain practical understanding of Halal requirements, including Halal slaughtering practices, animal welfare and stunning requirements, Halal controls, processing, handling, hygiene, and general Halal food requirements.
